Welcome to Tamu Pariwar New York, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich Gurung culture. The Gurung community is one of the indigenous ethnic groups native to the Himalayan and highland regions of Nepal. Our community is renowned for its distinctive traditions, music, dance, cuisine, language, and way of life, which have been passed down through generations.

Our organization aims to honor, preserve, and promote the unique Gurung culture, while also empowering the Gurung people through various initiatives. Tamu Pariwar New York, Inc. aims to unite Gurung families residing in and around New York, fostering a sense of community and harmony, and offering a platform for cultural exchange.
